Membership
Membership fees for Dhamma: A Theravada Buddhist Society, are no longer being accepted. The Annual membership was $20 in 2025. Members received advance notice of AGMs, retreats, and other activities, and paid reduced retreat fees. The membership year was April 1 – March 31.
Donations
Donations to Dhamma: A Theravada Buddhist Society, are no longer being accepted. These were used to help us offer more retreats, to make bursaries available for those who would otherwise have difficulty attending sponsored retreats, and to help support monastics. Donations helped us to keep retreat fees as low as possible.
The Society is non-profit and is a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), until such time as we request voluntary revocation, following dissolution of the Society by the BC Registrar. This is expected to be finalized by the end of 2025. More information about this move is found on the Home Page.
